Classic Restorations LLC was formed in 2007. Owner Mike Martin had grown up in the Muscle Car Era of the 1960’s. He was much interested in the automobile culture of that time and never got that out of his system. After a slight 30-year detour in which he founded and grew a general insurance agency which was sold in 2001 to a national insurance broker Mike founded Classic Restorations LLC.

He built a nice garage attached to his home in Madison to house some classic cars Mike had bought, inherited, or built. Someone asked if Mike could restore their classic car and Classic Restoration was quickly born. Starting with one part-time guy, the business has grown to six full-time employees. This growth is the result of doing good work, being honest with our clients, and charging fair rates for our service.

Classic Restorations moved in the Fall of 2019 to an 8500 sq. ft. facility in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
This facility is a much-improved location to handle an expanding business. A commercial semi-downdraft paint booth was purchased and installed along with the latest in tools and equipment to aid in classic car restorations. Classic Restorations has a talented and experienced staff. The paint and body guys have experience of 28 and 30 years.

The mechanical guys have deep and varied experience of 21, 29, 42, and 45 years. Saying that this group knows what they are doing is an understatement. The owner and staff like to get to know the clients of the shop and pride themselves on giving personal service to all clients. This service is evidently appreciated as we have much repeat business. The shop is becoming well known in the area as a shop with high standards, honest and fair charges, and an exceptional final product.
